At St Mark’s Coptic Orthodox College, leadership is not simply about position or title — it’s about service, humility, and the courage to make a difference. The announcement of our 2024 Student Leadership Team was a proud moment for the entire College community, marking the beginning of a new chapter in student voice and servant leadership.
These young leaders were chosen not only for their academic strength and co-curricular involvement but for the example they set every day — living out the College values of Faith, Character, and Excellence in all they do.

🌱 Growing Leaders for Life
The 2024 Leadership Team began their journey with the Lead & Survive Program, a two-day leadership development experience that combined theory and practical challenges in the outdoors. Through workshops, reflection, and collaboration, students explored the meaning of authentic leadership — one grounded in service, empathy, and courage.
Under the guidance of the College’s leadership mentors, the team also launched key initiatives during the year, including the Breakfast Club, Faith Outreach Projects, and student-led wellbeing events, all focused on strengthening community connection and student voice.
Deputy Head of College Mrs Grohala praised the students’ vision and commitment:
“Leadership at St Mark’s is about influence, not authority. It’s about bringing others along with you, leading by example, and serving with love. Our 2024 leaders have done exactly that.”
As they continue their final year of schooling, the 2024 Student Leadership Team stands as a testament to what it means to lead with purpose — guided by faith, driven by excellence, and inspired to serve.
Congratulations to our 2024 leaders. May your light continue to shine brightly within our College and beyond.
