2025 Student Leadership Team — Servant Hearts, Strong Voices

St Mark's announced the 2025 Student Leadership Team, including College Captains Alethia Georgy and Joseph Iskander, who commenced their service-focused year after completing the 'Lead & Survive Program' to strengthen their skills in teamwork, humility, and faith in action.

The announcement of the 2025 Student Leadership Team marked a proud and faith-filled moment for the St Mark’s community, as a new generation of young leaders stepped forward to serve their peers and College with integrity, humility, and purpose.

Leadership at St Mark’s is founded on the principles of faith, service, and character — guiding students to lead not for recognition, but to make a positive impact. These students were chosen for their compassion, initiative, and commitment to the College’s mission of Faith, Character, Excellence.

🏕 Building Leaders Through Experience

The leadership journey began with the Lead & Survive Program, a powerful two-day experience combining workshops on teamwork, communication, and servant leadership with an outdoor survival camp. Students learned that true leadership means service — encouraging others, working collaboratively, and staying grounded in Christ.

Under the guidance of Ms Armanyous and the senior staff team, the 2025 leaders have already begun shaping College life. They’ve led initiatives such as Breakfast Club, Faith in Action projects, Multicultural Day, and student wellbeing events, helping to strengthen community connection across K–12.

Dean of Students Ms Williams commended the cohort:

“Our 2025 leaders are outstanding examples of faith in action. They understand that leadership isn’t about being in front — it’s about lifting others up.”

As they guide their peers through 2025, the College community prays that these young leaders continue to walk in humility, courage, and service — shining as examples of Christ’s love in all they do.

Congratulations to the 2025 Student Leadership Team — may your year of service be blessed with purpose, growth, and joy.
