Our Future Leaders: Student Leadership Team for 2026

Leadership at St Mark’s is about more than holding a title — it’s about service, example, and faith in action.

This term, our newly elected Student Leadership Team for 2026 took part in an intensive Leadership Training Camp at the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation. Over three days, students were challenged to reflect on what it truly means to lead, while building teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The camp also brought together the incoming Year 9 Peer Support Leaders, who will guide and mentor Year 7 students next year. Under the guidance of staff including Mr Jones, Miss Abdelsayed, and Ms Williams, students developed the confidence and collaboration needed to serve their peers with integrity and compassion.

As our senior leaders prepare to take the reins, they stand on the shoulders of those before them — ready to carry forward the College’s values of Faith, Character, and Excellence. The year ahead promises fresh opportunities for these young leaders to make their mark and continue shaping the positive culture that defines St Mark’s.
