From the athletics track to the futsal court, 2025 has been a remarkable year for sport at St Mark’s. Our students have shown that determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship are just as important as trophies.
The Primary Athletics Carnival at Campbelltown Sports Stadium was a showcase of energy and enthusiasm, with St Anthony House taking out the championship title. Across all events, students displayed effort, encouragement, and school pride — even our youngest athletes in Kindergarten to Year 2 gave their all in fun relay and novelty races.
In interschool competition, our athletes represented St Mark’s with distinction at the SWISSA Championships, achieving multiple podium finishes including gold for Michelle Abraham (12 Years Girls) and strong silver placings for students across other age groups.
Meanwhile, on the futsal front, all four College teams — U10 Boys, U10 Girls, U13 Boys, and U13 Girls — qualified for the NSW State Finals, a first in school history. Competing among the best in the state, our teams displayed courage and teamwork, reflecting the growing strength of the College’s sporting program.
As Head of Sport, Mr Nestorovski summed it up best: “The combination of athletic excellence, outstanding behaviour, and genuine school spirit made this season truly special.”
