What have you been up to since graduating from St Mark’s?

After graduation, I completed a Bachelor of Computer Science (Cyber Security) at the University of Wollongong. Since then, I’ve taken on roles as an Academic Tutor, teaching computer science, cybersecurity, and network security, and as a Peer Assistant Tutor at UOW College, supporting students in IT and programming.

I’m currently studying a dual Master’s degree in Cyber Security Analysis and Intelligence at Macquarie University. My focus includes national security policy, cyber threat intelligence, and safeguarding Australia’s digital infrastructure.

Tell us a bit about your professional journey.

I’ve had the opportunity to gain experience across cybersecurity, research, and technology risk. In 2025, I completed a Technology Risk & Cyber Security Internship at KPMG Australia, contributing to research on how quantum computing will impact organisational security.

Before that, I worked as a Product Coordinator at TP-Link Australia, analysing network security products and conducting competitive intelligence. I’ve also participated in Global Security Study Tours in the UK and the New Colombo Plan scholarship program in China, exploring global security, intelligence systems, and international policy.

How did St Mark’s influence your pathway?

My time at St Mark’s had a profound impact on my academic and personal development. The teachers genuinely cared about us — they encouraged, supported, and believed in me, which gave me the confidence to pursue challenging pathways.

Serving as a prefect helped shape my leadership skills, teaching me what it means to guide others with responsibility and integrity. The values of resilience, curiosity, and honesty that were emphasised at school continue to guide my approach to university, work, and life.

Any final thoughts when looking back at your time at the College?

I’m grateful for the teachers who not only taught us but supported our growth as individuals. Their dedication inspired me to step outside my comfort zone, aim higher, and contribute back to my community. St Mark’s provided an environment where I felt supported, challenged, and encouraged — and that has made a lasting difference in the direction my life has taken.
